William “Skip” Fisher Has Joined Hogan Lovells As Partner In Shanghai

William “Skip” Fisher has joined Hogan Lovells as a partner in the firm’s intellectual property practice group in Shanghai. Fisher, a former senior associate in the firm’s Shanghai office, is a US-admitted attorney with 13 years’ experience in the US and China, in particular inpatent litigation, arbitration and mediation. He joined the firm from the Seattle office of Perkins Coie.


Fisher’s practice focuses on patent and trade secrets litigation and commercial IP. He has represented private and public companies in offensive and defensive patent and trade secrets litigation, involving various technologies, intellectual property risk management and enforcement in China, including strategic procurement of patents, trademarks, and copyrights; freedom to operate opinions; brand protection and anti-counterfeiting covering both administrative and judicial enforcement.
