Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe Has Added John Inge To Its Tokyo IP Team

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe has added to its Tokyo IP team by poaching John Inge from Hogan & Hartson. Inge has joined Orrick as of counsel. Inge has acted for a number of highprofile Japanese companies in the electronics and semiconductor fields, in patent litigation cases and other IP matters.
 
Inge has more than 30 years of patent and other IP experience divided between Japan and the US.
 
His legal practice spans patent litigation, interferences, validity and infringement opinions, and negotiations and licensing. Joint venture and research and development agreements are a particular area of his focus. Inge regularly lectures throughout the Pacific Rim on intellectual property law.
 
Inge’s appointment brings the number of senior lawyers in the firm’s Tokyo office to 13.
