Tilleke & Gibbins Has Named James Evans Consultant

Tilleke & Gibbins has named James Evans as a consultant in the firm’s intellectual property group. A seven-year UK qualified lawyer, Evans has spent more than five years in Bangkok and has also handled matters in Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam. He has experience in all types of IP litigation and in patent and trademark portfolio management (from filing to oppositions, appeals, and cancellations). In particular, Evans has worked on patent infringement and revocation matters in Thailand in the pharmaceutical field, in which he has acted for large pharmaceutical companies in litigation against generics companies. He also acts for a wide range of international and local clients in trademark and passing-off actions. Evans joined the firm from Rouse.
