Kuek Pei Yee Is Promoted To Partner At Skrine

Kuek Pei Yee was promoted to partner in the intellectual property division at Skrine effective January 1. Kuek is a registered patent agent and trademark agent, and is awaiting the confirmation of her registration as a registered industrial design agent in Malaysia. Her areas of practice include general advisory work and registration prosecution of trademarks, patents, industrial designs and copyright works; litigation and enforcement of intellectual property rights; franchising and licensing; and intellectual property due diligence. She joined the firm’s IP division in 2000 as a legal assistant.
Leela Devi Baskaran was also promoted to partner effective January 1. She practices in character merchandising, copyright, patents, trademarks and designs advisory, franchising and licensing, trade secrets and confidential information. She is a member of the Malaysian Intellectual Property Association and the Licensing Executives Society of Malaysia.
