Karen Spark has been named deputy managing partner at Phillips Ormonde Fitzpatrick. Spark, who joined the firm’s partnership in 2003, is a partner in the firm’s Adelaide office.

She specializes in the areas of patents and designs, working primarily with local Australian clients, providing them with complete advice on how to best protect their inventions and new designs both in Australia and overseas.

Spark has extensive experience in drafting patent specifications for mechanical inventions and prosecuting patent and design applications through to grant.
