DLA Piper has cut 9% of its staff in the Middle East, according to media reports from the region. The cuts are the firm’s second round of layoffs in the Middle East, following the April dismissal of eight associates.
The firm has reportedly released 22 staff members, including one partner and eight other fee earners. One-third of the reductions were in Dubai, where the corporate, real estate, finance and projects sectors have been hit hard by the global recession.
