Nancy Roy takes role as managing partner at Lall & Sethi

Nancy Roy has been named managing partner at Lall & Sethi in New Delhi. She succeeds Jyoti Kaur, who, the firm said in a statement, completed her term as managing partner.
Roy has been an integral part of the firm and brings over 15 years of experience in intellectual property and commercial litigation. Her experience and involvement in key responsibilities have contributed significantly to the firm’s growth and continuity, the firm said.
Roy practises in courts across India, including the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, Madras High Court, Calcutta High Court, Bombay High Court, District Courts and Tribunals since the year 2010, and has argued matters independently as well as assisting senior advocates in heavily contested litigation. Her key practice areas include litigation and advisory in the fields of disparagement, trademarks, copyright, patents, designs, arbitrations and consumer complaints. She also has extensive experience in brand protection advisory.
The announcement was made by Chander Lall, founder and senior advocate, who congratulated Roy on taking up the leadership role and acknowledged Kaur’s contributions to the firm.
