Overview

Jason Hung is a patent attorney and intellectual property litigation attorney at the RichIP International Patent & Trademark Firm of the RichIP Group. He possesses a Master’s degree of Law in intellectual property rights and a Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering.

Hung has approximately 10 years of experience in patent services for many local and foreign clients. He is well-versed in transnational patent application practices in Taiwan, China, the United States, Europe, the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT) and other jurisdictions, and specializes in managing patent prosecution, invalidation, evaluation and IPR litigation in the fields of electronic and electrical engineering, semiconductors, computer software, artificial intelligence (AI), optics and photonics, and industrial design for leading domestic and international enterprises, academic institutions, and research organizations.

Hung has been invited to act as a columnist for the IPR Column of Taiwan’s Contemporary Law Journal and the key author of the IPR Monthly & Newsletter for the RichIP Group. He also acts as one of the trainers for patent attorneys, patent engineers and paralegals of the RichIP Group. Hung is the key person to introduce artificial intelligence technology into the team’s closed operating platform to assist in providing patent translation, patent search and patent analysis services.
