Overview

Dr. Cross Liu is the executive manager of Rich IP & Co of the RichIP Group. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical engineering from Tamkang University, Taiwan, and has been committed to patent professional services for more than a decade. Cross is familiar with Taiwan, China and transnational patent prosecutions, and is good at dealing with patent affairs, including but not limited to, patent applications, patent invalidation (revocation), patent portfolios, patent searching, patent patentability analysis and patent infringement analysis, in the fields of communications and electronics, semiconductors, computer software, artificial intelligence (AI), optics and photonics.

Cross has delivered many patent training courses at universities (e.g., Fu Jen Catholic University), leading research organizations (e.g., the Institute for Information Industry and National Applied Research Laboratories) and technology companies (e.g., Kingston Corp., Singtex Co. and Elite Semiconductor Microelectronics Technology Inc., etc.). Such experiences make Cross able to satisfy his clients’ requirements in a more efficient and economical way. Cross has also acted as a columnist for the IPR Column of Taiwan’s Contemporary Law Journal and an editor for IPR Monthly & Newsletter for the RichIP Group.
