Overview
Terry Taehong Kim is the managing partner of Lee International IP & Law, leading the patent department with expertise in electronics and mechanics. Before his legal career, he worked as a research engineer at the Aerospace Research Institute of Korean Airlines. Since 1994, he has handled patent applications before the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) and has experience in appeals and litigation. Notable cases include representing U.S. and Japanese companies in complex patent disputes. He studied IP law at the University of New Hampshire and interned at Baker McKenzie in New York, holding degrees in aeronautical engineering and electronic communication.
