Overview
Ben Yuu, managing partner of NAM IP Group, is a dual-qualified patent attorney admitted to the Korean Patent Bar, California State Bar and USPTO. His practice spans patent prosecution, post-grant proceedings, FTO assessments and IP litigation, with particular expertise in semiconductors, wireless communications, software, AI, robotics and cloud computing.
Yuu began his career at NAM IP Group (formerly NAM & NAM) in 1997 before moving in-house, serving as vice president and patent counsel at Qualcomm and later as vice president and legal counsel at Samsung Electronics, where he led the patent and technology analysis group.
Recognized by MIP IP Stars as a “Patent Star” and named an IAM Global Leader 2026, Yuu combines international perspective, technical expertise and commercial insight in leading the firm.
