Overview

Jo-Ann See is a director of Amica Law with over 30 years practice in intellectual property law, specializing in the protection, management and strategic development of IP rights. A registered patent attorney, notary public and Commissioner for Oaths, she also serves on the expert panel of the Singapore Domain Name Dispute Resolution Service and is a member of the Inquiry Panel of the Law Society of Singapore

See advises clients across a wide spectrum of industries, including entertainment, cosmetics, chemicals, petroleum, telecommunications, information technology, food and beverage, hospitality and consumer products, on brand clearance, opposition, invalidation, revocation proceedings, global IP strategy, patent prosecution, licensing, assignments and franchising matters.

Beyond her practice, See is actively engaged in the international IP community. She has served on the board of directors of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and is currently a member of INTA’s 2025 Law Firm Think Tank Project. She also chaired the IP committee of the Law Society of Singapore for seven years. She currently sits on the council of the ASEAN Intellectual Property Association and is a committee member of the Institute of Singapore Trade Mark Agents.
