Overview

Continuously ranked as an IP expert by various IP journals and media, Fortuna Alvariza has longstanding experience in providing legal and IP services in various fields, including pharmaceuticals, fashion, F&B, consumer goods, entertainment, ecommerce, and many others. Her experience as an in-house counsel in a leading F&B companies has furnished her with a deep practical knowledge and skills in managing IP and other legal matters. She worked in a French law firm in Versailles, France, and three prominent law firms in Indonesia before establishing FAIP Advocates & IP Counsels.

Aside from non-contentious legal services, Alvariza has also handled many contentious cases. She successfully settled several cases out of court, as well as at the court. She is also known for her strategic approach in endeavour to solve the problem efficiently.

Alvariza takes part in the Industrial Design Standing Committee of Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA), representing the Indonesian Group, and she has been serving as treasurer of the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) since 2012. She has also been appointed secretary of the Indonesian Advocate Alliance (IKADIN) West Jakarta Chapter, and vice treasurer of the Indonesian Bar Association of West Jakarta Chapter. She also a member of the Italian Business Association in Indonesia, with whom she has actively cooperated in conducting legal events.
