Overview

Tia Malik, Partner at the firm, is an advocate registered with the Bar Council of India since 2007. With a wealthy experience of over 19 years, Tia has remained committed towards becoming an expert in the field of IP.  While managing portfolios of multinationals, Fortune 500 companies, including the best-known tech brands, media & telecommunications, fashion, pharmaceuticals, banking & financial services, luxury and hospitality, universities and start-ups, to name a few, Tia also helps them develop worldwide branding strategies, including helping clients select, develop, nurture, expand and protect their valuable IP assets.   
 
She advises her clients on intellectual property law protection and enforcement, due diligence, and licensing.   Tia’s practice also comprises of advising on compliances, exploitation of IP, advertising laws, entertainment laws and related regulatory codes. 
 
Tia is a member of International Trade Marks Association (INTA) and has been actively working and participating in INTA committees. Tia has served in the Trade mark offices committee, INTA’s Brands & Innovation Committee, Law Firms committee and has been recently chosen to be a part of the Copyright Committee. Tia is also an active member of the Intellectual Property Attorneys Association (IPAA) in India which works towards serving the community of IP practitioners and the various participants in the IP regime of the country, from rights holders, to government officials; from attorneys and agents to policy makers.
