Overview
Ying Huang has 25 years’ experience as a trademark attorney working on trademark prosecution, enforcement, administrative and civil litigations, domain name disputes, copyright protection and border issues, and has accumulated extensive experience on non-contentious and contentious trademark matters. She leads a professional team to provide services to clients including notable multinational corporations, and applies her rich experience in consulting and helping her clients to implement their trademark protection strategies in China.
Huang is an active member of the China Trademark Association (CTA) and the Beijing Lawyers Association. She is frequently invited to speak at seminars and workshops, make suggestions on amendment of Chinese trademark law and the China National Intellectual Property Administration’s (CNIPA) trademark examination guide.
As a mediator of CTA IP Dispute Mediation Committee, Huang worked in the IPR Protection Office at the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) in 2022 and 2023 with officers from the Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office and the Beijing Administration for Market Regulation and judges from the Beijing Intellectual Property Court.
Prior to joining Unitalen, Huang was a trademark attorney for seven years in a long-established and renowned IP law firm.
