Young-Hill Liew Is Now Member of National Intellectual Property Committee

Yulchon partner Young-Hill Liew has been named a private sector member of the National Intellectual Property Committee, which reports directly to Korean President Myung Bak Lee and aims to foster the growth of the nation’s intellectual property sector. The committee consists of 11 governmental members and 19 private sector members including joint commissioners Hwang Sik Kim, the Prime Minister of Korea, and Jong Yong Yun, a former vice chairman of Samsung Electronics.


Of counsel Tsuji Kazaki has joined Yulchon as a senior advisor who advises on Japanrelated affairs. Prior to joining the firm, Tsuji headed the Yokogawa Electronic Corporation’s operations in the Middle East (Bahrain), Indonesia, Australia, Taiwanand Korea, and served as the vice commissioner of the Japan Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Korea in 2010. Tsuji graduated from Osaka University of Foreign Studies in Japan.
