04 February 2021
Asia IP sat down with Clark W. Lackert, a shareholder at Carlton Fields in New York and an authority on the subject, to discuss the necessity and urgency of crafting international treaties and national laws on IP in outer space. In 2020, Lackert shared his insights on strengthening IP at the International Space Station during the International Space Station (ISS) R&D Conference. He also spoke at Florida Space Day 2020 and has authored several papers and articles on the issue.
More on the interview and IP in space in Asia IP’s February issue which will also feature IP lawyers from China and India, two of the frontrunners in space exploration and commercialization from Asia.
