Sarah Su named partner at Freshfields in Hong Kong

Su handles M&A, JV and PE transactions in TMT, consumer goods sectors.
Sarah Su, who acts on domestic and cross-border public and private M&A, joint ventures and private equity transactions for a broad range of corporates, private equity and other financial investors and financial institutions in both Europe and Asia, has been promoted to partner at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hong Kong, effective May 1, 2022. In addition to working for financial institutions, she also works in the retail and consumer goods sector and in the TMT sector.
Her recent work includes Advising Comcast on its £30.6 billion (US$40 billion) acquisition of Sky, advising ExpressVPN on the US$936 million sale of its business to Kape Technologies, a leading digital privacy and security software company listed on London’s AIM and advising Pladis and United Biscuits on the sale of Delacre and DeliChoc to Ferrero.
Su started her career in the firm’s London office before moving to Hong Kong. She has also spent time on secondment to Barclays Bank.
