Rupert Abraham Joins Ellis Terry As Associate

Rupert Abraham has joined Ellis Terry as an associate in its Auckland-based patent team. Abraham started at Ellis Terry in July 2010 and was with Ellis Terry for four years in the firm’s Wellington office, working primarily in electronics and mechanics. During this time, he successfully completely his New Zealand Patent Attorney exams and was registered as a New Zealand Patent Attorney. In 2015, he joined Kilburn & Strode in that firm’s London office in the engineering and IT group, where his work focused on European patent prosecution. Since his return to New Zealand in 2016, Abraham has consulted for Ellis Terry, and in April 2018 he joined to the Auckland office as an associate. He specializes in physics and electronics, and focuses on advising on strategy and drafting for a wide variety of New Zealand clients.
