Patent Examiner Jonathan Spivey Joined Bracewell & Giuliani As Partner

Former US Patent & Trademark Office patent examiner Jonathan R Spivey has joined Bracewell & Giuliani in Houston as a partner in the firm’s intellectual property litigation practice. Spivey was formerly a partner in Foley & Lardner IP litigation practice and chair of that firm’s Chicago IP department. He will focus his practice on counseling clients in a variety of industries, including mechanical, electrical, computer technology, and software arts, on complex patent, trade secret, copyright, and unfair competition litigation and appeals.
