Nirupam Lodha joins Khaitan & Co as partner

Nirupam Lodha has joined Khaitan & Co as a partner in its intellectual property practice in New Delhi. Lodha was previously a partner at L&L Partners (formerly Luthra & Luthra Law Offices).
Lodha assists clients negotiate, close, and handle complex, high-value, IP and technology transactions, including technology licensing and acquisition, brand licensing and acquisition, due diligence, etc. He also advises and assists clients on intellectual property disputes, such as trademark infringement and passing-off actions, patent infringement, copyright infringement and actions for misappropriation of trade secrets.
He has also assisted clients in seeking protection for their intellectual property, including by applying for trademarks, designs, patents and copyright protection. He has handled large IP portfolios of clients at both India and the international level.
He advised extensively on the Personal Data Protection Bill, 2019, and is regularly invited to comment on privacy related matters by media outlets and to participate in panel discussions in the field of data privacy.
