Microsoft, Ministry Sign IT, Licensing MoU

Microsoft Vietnam will work with the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs to ensure the ministry is in compliance with Vietnam’s Law on Intellectual Property and Vietnam’s international commitments on copyright and software licensing, according to a Vietnam News service report.
A Memorandum of Understanding signed in July between Microsoft and the ministry’s Information and Communication Centre also allows Microsoft to study the ministry’s IT situation and to provide advice on designing and implementing new IT architecture and an IT development roadmap through 2015. Microsoft will also provide training to the ministry’s staff as well as necessary financial support.
