Michelle Gon has joined Han Kun Law Offices in Shanghai as a senior attorney. Gon joins from Winston & Strawn, and joins the firm with Sophie Shi, Jolie Yan; each brings expertise in corporate compliance and governance, anti-corruption, anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition, white-collar crime, and internal and external compliance investigations. Gon also brings expertise in IP protection, acquisition, system establishment, trade secret protection, infringement defense strategies, and litigation negotiations. Her clients are from a diverse range of industries, including semiconductors, information technology, pharmaceutical, medical equipment, health care products, automobile, components, real estate, finance, food-related products, wine and spirits, and hospitality.
Gon has also held senior partner roles at two international law firms and served as the chief legal officer of a high-tech enterprise based in China and as the in-house counsel for the international division of a multinational company, which is based in the U.S. and has investments spanning across the globe.
