Maxwell A Fox Has Joined Ropes & Gray As Partner In Tokyo

Maxwell A Fox has joined Ropes & Gray as a partner in its Tokyo office and a member of the firm’s intellectual property group.
Fox, formerly co-head of litigation in Paul Hastings’ Tokyo office, has been recognized for his experience in patent practice and litigation in Asia and the Pacific. He will continue to focus his practice on complex intellectual property litigation, licensing and counseling; he has represented a wide range of technology companies in complex patent disputes and other intellectual property infringement litigation, and also advises clients on matters involving the licensing of patents and other intellectual property.
His clients have included leading manufacturers and distributors of electronic hardware, semiconductors, TFT LCD displays, memory devices, video games, notebook computers, television, DVD-ROMs, scanners and sports equipment.
The firm’s Tokyo office now has 12 attorneys focusing on intellectual property, litigation and private equity.
