Kylie Joiner promoted to special counsel at MDW in Melbourne

Kylie Joiner has been promoted to special counsel at Melbourne law firm marshalls+dent+wilmoth Lawyers, where she is part of the firm’s entertainment team. She provides legal services during project development and production to feature film producers, television producers and rights holders.
Joiner is also noted for her work in advising and drafting rights agreements, including options and deeds of assignment, and is also known to represent some of Australia’s most well-known television personalities. She joined the firm in 2014 after working as a lawyer in the music and creative arts industry and is well-equipped to manage multi-party transactions in film and television financing and has experience dealing with government funding agencies, commissioning broadcasters, gap financiers, producer offset lenders, local distributors and international sales agents.
Joiner provides legal services to feature film and television producers during both development and production stages; credits include Red Dog: True Blue, Ride Like a Girl, I Am Mother and The New Legends of Monkey.
