Katie Montazeri has been promoted to partner at DLA Piper. Montazeri, an intellectual property and technology lawyer in the irm’s Dubai office, was one of 44 DLA Piper lawyers to have been promoted in 2015. She focuses on licensing and distribution matters and has handled numerous high-value transactions in the licensing of trademarks and retail concepts in the UAE for businesses based within and outside the region; she also heads the irm’s Middle East franchise practice.
