Jay Chiu Joins K&L Gates As Partner

Jay Chiu has joined the Hong Kong and Beijing offices of K&L Gates as a partner in the firm’s IP litigation practice. He joined from Goodwin Procter, where he served as head of that firm’s Asian intellectual property and litigation practice. Chiu has substantial experience advising on complex litigation and intellectual property matters, including a focus on US patent litigation, contested Patent Office proceedings, licensing, and counseling matters. He has more than 14 years of patent litigation experience, representing technology clients; he also advises clients in regards to commercial disputes, internal investigations, FCPA, and international arbitration matters.
