Humphrey Foote Joins Davies Collison Cave As Principal In Wellington

Humphrey Foote has joined Davies Collison Cave as a principal in Wellington. Foote specializes in patents covering a wide range of technologies in life sciences and biotechnology, and also has extensive expertise in plant variety/breeders rights. He holds a BSc (Hons) in biological sciences and a PhD in molecular biology, both from the University of Birmingham. He was then a post-doctoral research fellow at the University of California and subsequently a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Nottingham. From 1999 until 2002, he worked at Genesis R&D Corporation which, at the time, was New Zealand’s largest biotech company, before joining AJ Park in 2002.
