Frederick Ch’en Promoted To Partner At Hogan Lovells

Frederick Ch’en has been promoted to partner in the intellectual property practice at Hogan Lovells in Tokyo. Ch’en has wide experience advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious IP matters, with particular focus on multi-jurisdictional patent litigation as well as IP licensing and IP aspects of transactions. He also has substantial expertise advising clients in the life sciences sector. He is an English solicitor, a US attorney and patent attorney, a registered foreign attorney in Japan, and a UK chartered biologist. Before becoming a lawyer, he was a biomedical research scientist at Oxford University.
