Disney Stole A Woman\'s Life For \"Frozen\"?
25 September 2014
Walt Disney's highest grossing animated film of all time, "Frozen," is being sued by a woman over claims of plagarism of her life story. She is claiming US$250 million for damages.
Isabella Tanikumi is saying that the film is based on her 2010 autobiography about her life in the Andean mountains of Peru rather than the proclaimed Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale, "The Snow Queen."
Tanikumi claims that her book's story, characters and plots were stolen by Disney for the makings of "Frozen."
But according to TMZ, the book does not seem to relate to "Frozen" in any way - there was no talking snowman at the very least.
