David Huebner Joins Arnold & Porter As Partner

Arnold & Porter has announced that David Huebner, the outgoing US Ambassador to New Zealand and Samoa, has joined the firm as a partner in its international arbitration, public international law, and national security practices. From the firm’s Los Angeles office, he will focus on international commercial arbitration, trade, and investments with an emphasis on intellectual property-intensive industries as well as energy, infrastructure, and construction projects. Prior to his appointment, Huebner spent two decades in international law practice in the Asia Pacific region, most recently heading the international dispute resolution and China practices from the Shanghai office of Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton. His work has included the representation of governments and corporations in the technology, entertainment/media, telecommunications, natural resources, pharmaceutical, and government contracting sectors.
