Arnold & Porter Is Opening In Seoul

Arnold & Porter has announced that it has been granted a license by the South Korean Ministry of Justice to open an office in Seoul. The new office is expected to enhance the firm’s ability to serve its Korean clients, including with respect to crossborder intellectual property, M&A, export control, US litigation, antitrust, international arbitration, and international trade matters.
The office will be led by James K. Lee, who joined the firm as a partner in December 2018. Lee has represented many of South Korea’s top companies before US federal and state courts and in arbitration, and he provides counsel on their operations in the United States and other international markets.
