Anthea Herron has joined New Zealand-based NewLaw firm Juno Legal as its first Christchurch-based lawyer.
Herron has more than 25 years’ experience in private practice and in in-house roles, with extensive experience working in telecommunications; cyber security; broadcasting services; commercial contract management, drafting and negotiation; mergers and acquisitions; and governance.
She gained her experience in the corporate and commercial divisions of law firms in Australia, the United Kingdom and New Zealand and as in-house counsel in the UK (on secondment to packaging giant DS Smith) and New Zealand, in a number of different industries. Most recently she was legal counsel for Kordia, where I was responsible for the New Zealand business and the legal and regulatory issues relating to its wide range of products and services, from telco to cyber security and from internet of things to critical network infrastructure solutions.
