AJ Park has announced nine staff appointments. The following staff have been appointed as senior associates: David Simunic, who specialized in patents, designs and copyrights in the medical device, mechanical and manufacturing industries; Emma McBride, a trademark and branding specialist who advises clients in the food, sport, retail and manufacturing industries; Hadleigh Brown, who specializes in patent and design law in the electrical, electronic, IT and software industries; and Humprhrey Foote, who specializes in patents for biotechnology and life sciences inventions and is an expert in plant variety rights.

Also named senior associates were: Jo Shaw, who specializes in patents in the chemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, dairy and food industries; John Mansell, who specializes in patents in the life sciences, with a focus on biotechnology, genomics and proteomics; Jonathan Aumonier-Ward, who specializes in trademarks and related copyright law; and Victoria Watts, who deals with contentious and non-contentious matters in the fields of trademarks and copyrights. Sarah McIntosh, who specializes in biotechnology and life sciences patents, was named an associate of the firm.
