Adrian Kuti has been promoted to partner at Clayton Utz in Sydney, effective January 1, 2021. Kuti’s expertise spans competition and consumer law, telecommunications, technology and automotive regulatory issues, and franchising and general commercial and contractual advisory matters. Kuti advises large corporate and government business enterprises on competition/antitrust law, Australian Consumer Law, telco, technology and automotive regulatory matters and Franchising Code issues, as well as on the commercial aspects of wholesale telecommunications and infrastructure procurement, supply and customer contracts, automotive dealer agreements and other distribution, reseller and commercial contracting arrangements.
Kuti regularly advises clients across various industries, including financial planning and services (e.g., AMP Limited); motor vehicle dealer networks (e.g., Jaguar Land Rover Australia, Volkswagen and Audi) and international franchise chains on the potential application of the Franchising Code of Conduct to existing and new business models and ongoing code compliance matters.
