Beijing East IP Opens New Office In Silicon Valley

Beijing East IP has opened an new office in Silicon Valley, California. The office will be led by managing partner Liaoteng Wang, a scientistturned- patent attorney who has connections in both the United States and China. Wang was previously general counsel with Samsung Electronics and, prior to that, with ArcSoft, working for both in Silicon Valley. Before embarking on a career in law, he published in the journal Nature his discovery of a family of enzymes essential for germline and embryonic development, the function of brain, and the translational control of gene expression.
