Watson, Farley & Williams Has Appointed Marcus Nothhelfer As Partner

Issued: February 01 2013

Watson, Farley & Williams has appointed Marcus Nothhelfer as a partner in its Bangkok office. Nothhelfer is a German attorney-at-law and specialist lawyer in copyright and media law. He joins from the Munich office of Ashurst where he was head of the German IP/commercial practice group.

Nothhelfer’s move to Thailand is aimed at developing the firm’s corporate and commercial transactional practice in Bangkok with a focus on the German business community in Asia; he will also develop links with Asian investors who are interested in opportunities in Europe.

“The prospects for development of the links between Asia and Germany, together with a broad corporate and commercial practice, are excellent,” said Nothhelfer.
